Cornbread waffles (gluten free)

2 C oats(grind to flour in food processor)
1 C Cornmeal
1 T baking powder
1 t baking soda
1/4 t salt
1/4 cup honey (or maple syrup to make vegan)  
1 Can Coconut Milk
6 T ground flax
5 T almond milk 
Combine above ingredients and use waffle iron directions to make waffles  
(this also works as a cornbread or muffin recipe)  

Blissful Marinade (wonderful on tempe)

a great marinade for Tempe from Chef Bliss:
2T paprika, 1T chili powder, 2t oregano, 1t thyme, juice from 1/2 lime. Add enough olive oil & braggs liquid amino/soy sauce to cover Tempe & stir well  and let it soak all day. (great marinade for anything else too!)

Banana Pecan Ice Cream (vegan)

1 13.5 can coconut milk
1 ripe banana
pinch of salt
1/4 C & 3 T Maple Syrup
1/2 t Molasses
1 t vanilla extract
1/2 C chopped Pecans

Blend Together. Freeze according to ice cream maker. Mix in pecans after
ice cream is done.

Broccoli Tabouli Salad

TBS olive oil
1/2 onion chopped
2 cloves garlic chopped
1 can chic peas (15.5 oz)
1 head broccoli chopped
1 Red or Green Pepper chopped
1/2 C golden raisins
1 Apple chopped
1 Cup bulgar wheat (cook according to directions)
2 T braggs liquid amino acid (or soy sauce)
pepper & salt to taste
1 T chili powder
1 t red pepper flakes
2 T Balsamic Vinegar
1 T olive Oil 
Brown 1/2 onion in olive oil on medium heat till browned.  Add garlic & chic Peas(drained), chili powder & red pepper flakes.  Cook 5 minutes on medium.  Add broccoli, stir till browned.  Cook bulgar wheat separately.  Mix above together with raw pepper, raisins, apple, brags, olive oil, vinegar & salt & pepper.  
Serve warm or cold.

1 C oil (we love coconut oil)
1 C honey
3 C oats
2-3 C sliced almonds   
Mix well the above ingredients  in a bowl.  Spread evenly on a greased baking sheet.  Bake at 300 degrees for 15 minutes.  stir.  bake for 5-15 more minutes until it is light golden brown.  
(this is the basic recipe & is perfect as is but feel free to get creative.....add cinnamon, vanilla before you bake it.  add dried fruit and nuts after you bake it)
